Sometimes, the idea of having one less item to carry around is incredibly appealing. Imagine going to the grocery store and paying for your groceries with your phone. Imagine the next trip to your local coffee shop, you don’t have to dig around for your credit card in your wallet or purse. And imagine simply reaching out your phone the next time you’re paying for your lunch in a hurry.

Mobile Wallets use a technology called Tokenization. Through this process, you can replace the credit card number with a token for use in the digital-payment transaction. Tokenization also helps you gain an additional layer of defense against fraud by allowing the token to be stored and used in the merchant environment instead of the card. You can add your Wayne Bank debit or credit card to your Apple®, Samsung® or Google® wallets.

What does the setup process involve for Apple Pay^®?

You can add you in a few easy steps. The process for adding a card will be different between the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. For the iPhone 6 or newer:

Open Wallet and tap the plus sign
Position your card in the camera frame to automatically enter your card information.
Enter the security code found on the back of your card and fill in any remaining fields.

How do you make a payment with Apple Pay^®?

To use your default card, reset your finger on Touch ID.
Hold the top of the iPhone within a few centimeters of the contactless reader until you see 'Done' and a checkmark on the display
Use Apple Pay wherever you see one of these icons.

What does the set-up process involve for Samsung Pay^®?

The Samsung app is installed of the phone.
You will need to register your fingerprint on the device.
The camera will launch so you can scan your credit or debit card.
Finally, the app will need to verify the card by sending you either a text message or an email from Wayne Bank.

How do you make a payment with Samsung Pay^®?

Samsung has a lock screen that has a 'swipe up' form the small Samsung Pay bar just above the home button.
You will place your finger on the home button to verify your fingerprint and hold the back of the against the payment terminal.
Once the payment is made, you will get a notification that confirms the merchant name and the amount of your purchase.

Samsung Pay® works almost anywhere you can swipe or tap your card.

What does the setup process involve for Google Pay^™?

When you load up Google Pay™ for the first time and log into your preference Google Account, the app will automatically recognize any cards associated with your Google Play™ account and request to add them. To add other cards follow these steps:

Tap the Google Pay™ app on their device, touch the '+' sign to add a credit or debit card to pay using the phone device.
Position the credit/debit card in the camera frame to automatically enter the card information.
Enter the security code found on their card and provide additional information as required.
If requested, follow any additional steps to verify the card.

How do you make a payment with Google Pay^™?

Unlock your phone.
Hold the top of your phone within a few centimeters of the contactless reader until you see a checkmark on the display.
